When an a life threatening medical emergency occurs, 911 is called and an ambulance is dispatched. In some cases such as a cardiac arrest or serious injury, every second counts. There are several life saving interventions that can be done before the EMS crew arrives. Canandaigua Emergency Squad is committed to training and educating those who would like to step forward. Below is a sampling of the many courses offered.

• Stop the Bleed 
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Opiate Overdose Reversal (coming soon)
