Sergeant Opening

Canandaigua Emergency Squad is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Sergeant. The Sergeant works as a member of the operational staff, assisting the Chief in overseeing Squad activities while on-duty. Additionally, the Sergeant provides direct patient care in the capacity of a Paramedic while on-duty. Qualified candidates should have supervisory experience in Emergency Medical Services. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications listed in the job description. EMT-Paramedic certification from the New York State Dept. of Health, a clean driving record, NIMS training, and an Associates Degree or equivalent education are required at the time of appointment.

Hourly $16.50 to $18.50.
