Paramedic Opening

Canandaigua Emergency Squad is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Paramedic. The Paramedic provides direct patient care in the capacity of a Paramedic while on-duty. The Paramedic assists with volunteer recruitment and retention, training, and mentoring of other staff. The Paramedic also assists with administrative tasks. Previous experience in Emergency Medical Services is required. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications listed in the job description. EMT-Paramedic certification from the New York State Dept. of Health, a clean driving record, and NIMS training (100,200, & 700) are required at the time of appointment.
