Emergency Medical Technician Opening

Canandaigua Emergency Squad is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). The EMT provides direct patient care in the capacity of a EMT while on-duty. The EMT assists with volunteer recruitment and retention, training, and mentoring of other staff. The EMT also assists with administrative tasks. Previous experience in Emergency Medical Services is required. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications listed in the job description. EMT certification from the New York State Dept. of Health, a clean driving record, and NIMS training (100,200, & 700) are required at the time of appointment. An Associates Degree is preferred.
