Our Vision:

Canandaigua Emergency Squad's vision is to provide Prehospital healthcare services and education in the communities we serve to reduce or mitigate the effects and impact of medical or traumatic emergencies.

We recognize that the healthcare service we provide has a direct impact on the potential outcome of our patients. We strive to improve our standards through benchmarking leading agencies in the industry and participating in multiple studies to improve the delivery of Prehospital healthcare services.

We also recognize the importance of community education and prevention. We speak to school children, community groups, and others about the importance of prevention. We participate as a site for the Governor's Traffic Safety program, offering Child Car Seat Checks. We also provide "File of Life" cards and holders to elderly residents to assist us identify their medical conditions in an emergency.

Our Mission:

The mission of Canandaigua Emergency Squad is to provide quality and timely Emergency Medical Services to all people in the greater Canandaigua region.

Our dedication to our mission is demonstrated by our volunteer and contract staff every day. We conduct on-going training all year to make sure our staff is prepared on new and changing medical protocols and procedures. We review technology to see how we can improve the delivery of service to our patients. We review our response times monthly against established benchmarks to make sure we are delivering timely service.
